Is there any workaround to use a 2017 imac display for the mac mini m4?

The monitor is beautiful and everything works fine. I just want to upgrade to a mac mini and recycle this 2017 monitor, but Apple disabled target mode on it. Is there any workaround to pair the mac mini m4 and the 2017 imac monitor without using luna display? thanks!
