Guest /u/Particular-Run-6257 Posted December 25, 2024 Posted December 25, 2024 Hi all.. I've had this same issue with two different Mac's but the same mouse. It's a Magic Mouse 2 (the one with the lightning connector) which I've had for years. In general it works fine but once in a while it takes a ton of movement to move across my single screen -- kinda like running across the grocery store to get that last bag of Oreos and you'r'e running in slow motion. It's annoying. OK.. Perhaps a bad analogy! I've found that if I go into the settings app and fiddle with most any setting (e.g. mouse movement speed) then the issue is immediately fixed.. I don't see anything on the bottom of the mouse such as gunk or anything that I typically used to see with optical mice. Overall I like this mouse but sometimes it's just frustrating.. I've seen this on both my new Mac mini (Sonoma) and my old MacBook Pro that I sold about 6 months ago.. Does anyone else see this behavior? submitted by /u/Particular-Run-6257 [link] [comments]
