Guest /u/Independent-Bid-2152 Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 A few days ago i factory reset my iPhone (let's not talk about why) and now i can't get my notifications / media volume setup like i want to. Basically, i want the notifications to make a sound but i normally want the media volume at 0. I'm 99% sure this is how it was before because i always kept the volume at 0 and yet, every time i turned the silent switch off, the notifications would play a sound. I never had to worry about the volume level. But now if my media volume is at 0 the phone only vibrates when i get a notification, despite not being in silent mode. I have to manually increase the volume. Note that the setting to control ringer volume with the buttons is off. Is this the intended behavior? To me it makes no sense.
