ts 2008 remote ms-word and local internet explorer connection

Hi,

 

I'm testing with a ts 2008 server and remote app. A customer uses an online

(internet) application (via local pc)in which he can select a ms-word

document. If it is selected than the contents of the document must be

displayed in the remote app ms-word application.

Is this possible? I did read something about making this connection via a

msi file but don't know if this is correct.

You can have remoteapp take over the file type associations using the

MSI method yes. Assuming (and you know what they say about that) that

the application uses the standard file type assocations then it should

appear in the remote app.
