now what?

[Guest pentium]

i have windows xp pro sp2 and i can't reinstall yahoo messenger or msn

messenger. it kept saying "communications error". i tried older versions,

still nothing. i can install/reinstall anti virus software and all. i'm not

quite sure if this is even the right place to ask this. any advice or

suggestions?
