Guest shocker Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 I've created a PC backup in Windows Server 2008, When attempting to restore from the Window Startup DVD, the scan for backup doesn't find the backup on an internal drive (G:). Can anyone help?

Some questions: - What exactly is a "PC backup"? - What backup application did you use? - Where did you back it up to? - What is a "Windows Startup DVD"? - What exactly are you trying to restore?

The volume backup of the system drive was made using the Backup wizard in Windows Server 2008. I've booted using the Windows Server 2008 DVD, and selected restore. the volume that's backuped is never found.
