Guest pedro28@gmail.com Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 windows server 2003 r2 sp2 I created a domain acocunt called domain\username and added that account to the "log on as batch" and "log on as service" and "backup files and directories" in local security policy. When the job runs the log shows access denied. To clarify I set the job to run with the account I created and with the correct password which I also validated. I notice the job will only run if I add the above account to the adminsitrator group and I do not want to do that. What other priviliges are needed for a scheduled task job to run without adding it to the administrator group? Any help is grealty appreciated thank you.

AlbinaHHunino Posted May 25, 2020 Posted May 25, 2020 So i created a script to read the logs and export all IPs that have a temporary ban put on them from all these people try a password over and over again. I would then like to add them to my access rule to deny them them access via a command line. is there a way to do this?
