I am having to backup my exchange 2007 server with windows backup on

windows server 2003. I notice that ntbackup is able to see the e2k7

server and the information stores in it. And it is able to do a

backup. What i am wondering is when i go to do a restore - on the

restore and managed media tab. I see the both the information stores,

the log files and mailbox database folder. But i don't see any

catalog information on the right pane in that window(it just says no

entries found when i click on either the log files folder or the

mailbox database folder). Is this normal, or the way it should be. I

am wondering if i need to install the exchange 2k7 management tools(or

how to check if they are already installed). Thanks
