Laptop Screen replacement

I have a Toshiba Portege R500 which is a great little laptop but the screen is cracked:(. I have found plenty of sites showing me how to replace the screen and it doesn't look too difficult. The problem is I can't find a replacement screen anywhere. Has anyone got any suggestions where I would get one and how much I should expect to pay?

Hi,

 

You will struggle to get one, I'll lay money on the fact that they are not made anymore. The best you can hope for is finding one on ebay in a faulty unit.
