Dont know if i am posting in the right section but here i go (feel free to move it to other section of forum).

I have been having problems such as explorer hanging and not responding upon using right click on say Storage Drives in my computer. And at the same time ive been having issues with bitlocker the drives would unlock but give me a (Parameter is incorrect and drive is not accessible error).

Long story short in the https://answers.microsoft.com i started a tread with these problem`s, Someone poped up and said, Maybe you have a bad Item in your right click context menu witch would explain explorer Not responding...

I used a tool to remove the concerned item from the context menu and at the same time it seems to have fixed the problems i have been having trying to unlock my bitlocker drives.....

In any way possible can a context menu item give me problem's with bitlocker ? THIS is the question.

Here is the answers.microsoft.com link to give you guys an detailed Idea of what i have done so far.

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-files/parameter-is-incorrect-on-2-drives-and-right/d443b9fa-0487-47a9-94c7-ea2943a76f8e?tm=1520261486831

a small well explained answer would help a lot.

So, have you guys encountered problem with bitlocker because of a small context menu item being at fault ? Was this the only reason for these problem`s concurring with bitlocker ?

Did i miss steps in my troubleshooting ?

Thx for all and any info you can give !

knowledge is my internet food !!!!!!!!!!
