Synapse Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Did you uninstall the video drivers for your onboard video before installing the new card and drivers? If not, you should uninstall the old video drivers whilst using the onboard video, then shutdown. Fit the new card, restart, install drivers, shutdown and retsart again. Quote
KenB Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Hi What is the wattage of the PSU that you have ? The minimum for this card is 300W How much RAM do you have ? It could be a return to supplier for a replacement. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! Plastic Nev Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 For what it costs, why not buy a bigger power supply? They aren't too expensive and one of around 500 watts will give you all you need plus a bit spare should it be needed. Let us know if you decide on that and we can help further in selecting one appropriate, and explain how to remove the old and fit the new if needed. Nev. Quote Need help with your computer problems?
