Why wont my keyboard arrow keys or WASD work on any game at all even flash games.

Why wont any game work

I've tried team fortress 2 and GTA 4. both games install fine and load up fine but as soon as i get into them none of the controls work.

In gta 4 i can't drive the car and inn team fortress 2 i can't run any where but i can fire the gun and scroll through the wepons.

 

I originally thought it was because my computer wasn't capable of playing GTA 4 and its technically not but it is good enough to play Team Fortress 2 so there's obviously another problem somewhere

 

please help

I've also tried flash games like playing with fire 2 and that dosen't work either so its obviously not something to do with the graphics card because any graphics card is capable of playing flash games.

Does the keys work in notepad?

 

Have you check the settings in the game, what they are?
