Porge Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Trying to make a CD for my husband's car. All songs purchased from itunes. Think I have itunes version 10 at the moment. Only 8 short songs and using a CD-R 700mb. When I highlight the playlist I want to burn and click File (there is no option there to burn to CD - even though a window appears if I insert the disc telling me to go to File and click the burn to CD option). I have also tried right clicking the playlist but still no burn options appear. Can anyone tell me how to burn a CD - it is s frustrating! Thanks Quote
RandyL Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Hi Porge. Look in the lower left side of Itunes and click the + and you will see a Burn music to CDs tutorial. This will show you how to make the playlist and drag songs into it. Now click File and you should see Burn Playlist to Disc. This will bring up a window to burn a CD. From Apple: If “Burn Playlist to Disc” doesn’t appear in the menu, it means that the playlist you selected can’t be burned to a CD because it contains items that have usage restrictions. So if the songs have DRM you can't. I believe Itunes has a limit of 7 times that you can burn. If any of the songs has burned 7 times the option won't appear. Itunes Plus might not have that restriction. Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else.
