PC Doesn't start then boots on its own, Any Ideas?

Hey,

 

Last Friday when I went to start my pc i hit the button and there was no response.

 

I took it apart and checked everything and it was dead all weekend, however on Monday I decided to hit the button and it worked fine. All week it started perfect until this Friday when I hit the button in the morning and again ... no response. I was in the other room and heard it start, and this has happened a few times this weekend. I can hit the button a few times and it seems dead, (green light is still on the motherboard). This morning it did the same thing, however i pulled out the USB netgear WiFi stick i have and plugged it back in and it started, i dont think this connected but it might be.

 

Any Ideas?

I am no hardware expert but I do know we will need to know more about your system specs. Assuming that it is nothing as simple as a bad power button my guess (and it is only an educated guess based on very little information) is that there is an issue with your PSU.
