I have just moved over my computer from one house to the next, when i hooked up my system to my new tv. I amidatley know there is a problem when it doesnt notice my computer. This has happened once before so I just switched the ports I use in the back of my computer, from the ones comming from the graphics card to the standard ports in the back of the computer. This works and I get my computer screen back up and running, however when I click on my control pannel and onto my Nvidia, it says that there is no nvidia card installed. I check my Device manager nothing, i look all over my computer restarted a couple hundred times. I even restored it to a few days ago to see if I had accidently changed anything. But it still says that there is no graphics card in my computer.

I havent took apart the computer itself since i brought it and just before i moved it i was using it and all was fine.

Im running windows 7.

Any help would be great.

Hi and welcome to ExTS

Chances are that the card has moved in the slot and is not making proper contact.

Switch off at the wall and take the side panel off.

Remove the card and clean the contacts with a pencil eraser. ( there may be a small screw to remove )

Blow out the slot.

Replace the card and try again.
