Cannot Change Default Web Browser

Windows 10. Changing Default Browser.

 

 

 

I can't change default browser either through Settings applet or Control Panel.

 

 

 

Everytime I try to change it from Settings, the window automatically closes. When I reopen the applet, Edge stays as the default Web browser.

 

 

 

If I try it from the Control Panel, it takes me to the Settings applet and I get the same results.
