Plastic Nev Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 OK, thanks Ken, You should be OK with that for the sound card Markus, the other peripheral may be needed for if fitted perhaps, something like a card reader, but that is all. MarkusBoi Posted October 26, 2012 Author Posted October 26, 2012 With the power issue resolved along with the sound card, I was still wondering if anything such as the capacitors would be obstructed or anything else by the graphics card, to me this seemed like an unresolved issue. Any help? Thanks, Markus Quote
KenB Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 I was still wondering if anything such as the capacitors would be obstructed or anything else by the graphics card, to me this seemed like an unresolved issue Vr5fx wrote earlier ... It should also sit above the capacitors as the heatsink has a clearance greater than the slot itself. MarkusBoi Posted October 26, 2012 Author Posted October 26, 2012 What does that mean though? I asked for a simpler version of that but never got one, was the main reason as to why I was unsure Markus Quote
KenB Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Basically what Vr5fx is saying is that the card should fit :) Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! MiniToolBoxNetwork TestWireless Test
Plastic Nev Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Hi, Basically he meant that nothing should get in the way. Vr5fx looked at the specification and all dimensions of the card, and your motherboard. In other words, it should fit. Nev. Edit- Great thinks mind alike Ken. MarkusBoi Posted October 26, 2012 Author Posted October 26, 2012 Thank you both :) All the help is appreciated Markus Quote
MarkusBoi Posted October 27, 2012 Author Posted October 27, 2012 Was wondering, would this still fit? It's larger however I'm not sure if this would still fit or no http://www.stuff-uk.net/p-1300659.aspx?affiliateid=10050 Markus Quote
KenB Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 As long as the capacitors are not higher than the plastic housing for the card ( and on looking again they seem OK ) then and PCIe x 16 card will fit.
