ExTS Admin BetaTime Posted August 31, 2018 ExTS Admin Posted August 31, 2018 The following happened: I have activated TPM and Bitlocker with a powershellscript for more computers from a list with the following commands: Enable TPM: manage-bde -tpm -turnon-computer-name $ _. computer name TPM ownership + password: manage-bde -tpm -o OwnerPassword-Computername $ _. Computername Activate bitlocker: manage-bde -on C: -skiphardwaretest -wiederherstellungskennwort -computername $ _. Computername The problem is that the GPO that have the machines to put their keys in AD, on some machines was not applied. Stupidly just one of these computers for some reason (USB stick, changed hardware, updates, no idea ...) asked for the recovery key when booting today. I had to realize that in the AD no Recoverykey for the computer account is deposited and otherwise it will not be saved then because the log of the script is no longer available. On another Device I deactivated USB-boot devices in BIOS and I was able the boot the System and backup the key afterwards. But not on this… Do you still have any idea how to get the hard drive data? The OS can’t boot… Would a Microsoft case help? If so, does anyone have experience with it? Is there possibly third-party software, which can bypass the protection or encrypt the drive in another way? I am grateful for every suggestion and suggestion. Here are the key data of the device: Model: HP EliteBook 840 G4 BIOS version: P78 Ver. 8.1 TPM version: 2.0 OS Build: 10.0.16299 Best regards! More...
