How can I remove FBI message from my PC

Hi guys! Are you aware of some way to remove an FBI message from my computer? Have in mind that since this message is displayed on my Desktop, my whole system is locked so I cannot access any system files or programs. I really need to unlock the system, of course, so any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

I assume that you are aware that this is ransom-ware.

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES pay any money to these guys !!

 

Can you boot up in Safe Mode ?

 

Switch on .......constantly tap F8 about once per second

Select Safe Mode with Networking from the list of options.

 

Download MBAM from here ( you may get re-directed ....this is OK )

MBAM click here

 

Install it in safe mode and run it.

It will produce a log.

Please post this here.

 

You will need assistance from one of our security experts - even if MBAM seems to have dealt with the problem.

Guys, I couldn`t get the log, but I found some more details about the problem here http://www.americanpendulum.com/2012/10/02/fbi-moneypak-scam-dangerous-malware-making-millions-of/ and here also https://community.mcafee.com/message/258232, I combined your words with the steps here and what happened was that I run my PC in safe mode, I put the external drive and run Malwarebytes from the drive. I scanned the system and thus removed the infected files. I hope there are none left. Thanks guys!

You may still need starbuck to take a look at your system.

MBAM would have produced a log.

Can you copy this and post it here please ?
