After waiting a significant time, powered the PC on into safe mode. After safe mode booted correctly, restarted normally. PC booted up fine. At the assigned time the system tried to install rollup update KB4457144 and failed with the error code 0x80073701. I have tried other fixes such sfc /scannow and the error keeps occuring.
