Newbie to forum.

Hi everyone, my name is Mike and I am new to this forum. I am an avid user of my pc, but have an insatiable curiousity about how things work(must be in the genes, my dad was a mechanic...lol). I have found myself tinkering with my pc to try and improve it and have just got a media centre pc off my father in law, so will be on here regularly looking for advice and tips from the forum members. As I am a young 52, I hope you can all be patient with me as I am by no means technically proficient.
