PEV Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 My wife has had a Zoostorm Netbook for a year or so with no problems apart from a virus about 6 months ago which was removed. Now out of the blue when she booted it up the following message appeared and she was unable to access emails and internet. Message reads:- ' Invalid License Key Check system date and time' We then noticed that the date/time on right side of bottom tray read. '00.04 01/01/2008'. We then clicked that area and managed to alter the date and time to real time and the Netbook then worked perfectly. However when she turned it on this morning we were back to the same problem again. Again she got access to internet emails by correcting the time/date again. can anyone please urgently shed some light on this problem and give us a reason for this manifestation and a permanent fix for it? Thanks Mrs PEV Quote

PEV Posted November 14, 2012 Author Posted November 14, 2012 I just tried adjusting the date time on my own desktop but difference is the 'apply tab' is live but in my wife's netbook the apply tab is dead so you can't press apply to confirm the date/time change which I assume is why the changes are not saved?
