BT57 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Hi, I am unable to view email attachments, namely photos, when i click on the attachment i can only view about a third of the photo. I've tried using a different browser but the problem still persists. I'd be grateful if anyone can suggest a solution to this problem. Quote
KenB Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Hi and welcome to ExTS i can only view about a third of the photo. The attachment is obviously opening - is the other 2/3 missing or do you have to scroll down to see it ? If you take a look at the attachment what is the file size ? BT57 Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 email attachments Hi and welcome to ExTS The attachment is obviously opening - is the other 2/3 missing or do you have to scroll down to see it ? If you take a look at the attachment what is the file size ? Hi, The attachment is opening but the other 2/3 is blank, similar to an underdeveloped kodak type photo. The attachment is not too big to be displayed fully, I think its a problem with the attachment not loading correctly but i am not sure what to do to resolve the problem. Quote
KenB Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Hi but the other 2/3 is blank Do you see the full outline of the picture with 2/3 blank - or is it that the bottom 2/3 is missing completely ? If you right click on the attachment > is there an option to .....Open With If so ....Try a couple of the options see if you get the same result. Which email client are you using ? BT57 Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 Hi, Yes i can see the full outline of the photo, I've tried right click the only options available are reload or save or print, which do not resolve the problem. I've just have my email set up through post office broadband/ not using any other email client. Quote
KenB Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Are the emails all from the same source ? ........... or is it every email with a picture attachment. If I PM you my email address is it possible to forward me the attachment to see if I can open it? If it is personal - no problem. Alternatively - forward the email to a friend and ask if they can open it. If somebody else can open it then the problem lies with your system.
