Duckhook503 Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Hello Ladies & Gents. I wonder if some kind soul can, in very simple terms solve a problem. I live in Ireland, and have recently installed a new (well new to me ) router. I have replaced the supplied Vodafone router, which packed up, with a Buffalo WBMR G54. I connect my P.C. to this wirelessly through a Belkin dongle. This works perfectly. However if my wife wishes to use her laptop, and connect to the net, although it states that the Buffalo is available, and the signal is good, a message appears "The settings saved on this computer for this network do not match the requirements of this network" I am completely at a loss to know what needs to be adjusted on a laptop. I thought the whole point was that they can be used anywhere without any fiddling at all. If anybody can in very simple language point me in the right direction, you will go straight to the top of my Christmas card list Many thanks Quote
