Hi

I was using a cd rom for card making and printing images from that without a problem. Then the other day there was a message on my screen after logging in for an Adobe reader update which I clicked on as I thought I would probably need it. Ever since then it seems I cannot print and keep getting a pharsing error in file c/hp/digital imaging (or something like that). I have tried all I know how to try to rectify this but nothing will work. I've uninstalled both Adobe reader/flash reader and the HP photosmart C4480 printer and reinstalled but nothing works. I'm tearing my hair out so can anyone offer any help at all please?

Hi,

I found this that solved a similar problem for the poster:

1. Uninstall all-in-one printer drivers and disconnect the printer from computer

2. In your windows search bar (Windows Explorer) type in "%Temp%". This should bring up a temporay folder. "Select All" and "delete". This basically clears out junk. You may not be able to clear everything. There is a message about using some of the files. Whatever you can delete just delete.

3. Uninstall and reinstall Adobe Flash Player (that was the key to my success). One of the tech guys determined that I had a Flash player issue.

4. Restart the computer.

5. Reinstall the printer drivers (reconnect printer) using the original CD/DVD and hopefully that will resolve your issue.

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!

Thank you for your help and I will try this tonight. The problem though with using the original cd/dvd is that it is for Windows XP and now I'm running Windows 7.
