Merry Christmas!

When I got my new laptop, running Windows 8 OS, I set the screen-saver to randomly pick out pictures from My Pictures folder. I forgot where I set this and now am fed up looking at them! How do I disable this?

Thanks for your help.

Hi and Merry Christmas to you too :)

Windows 8 is not like Vista or 7 as you are finding out :)

Go to the desktop........ [ point mouse curser to top right corner > click on the Search Magnifying Glass > type in "Desktop" > Enter ]

Right click on the Desktop > Personalise

You will see "desktop background" in the bottom left > click on this

Your "Picture Location" should be shown.

Use the down arrow and change this to "Desktop Background" [ or whatever you decide ]

You can select just one background image from the previous page.

It is possible from here to download different images if you wish.

I hope this helps :)

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
