If you are still thinking that the GT430 can be run in your system this is from the link you gave me: Minimum System Power Requirement 300(W) There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! KenB Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 they told me i can run this card with a 220 watt power supply Fine. Just wait until you try to run graphics intensive games. Why would the manufacturers specify 300 Watt minimum ? 9 other graphics card forums help told me the same things that i can run this card ! So why waste my time ????? just leave it This was my thoughts exactly! Your problem is we didn't tell you what you wanted to hear. If you want to waste your money - go ahead. It seems you wasted the guys' time here too: http://forums.cnet.com/7723-6122_102-581272/please-help-me/ They too told you your PSU was not up to it. It seems the only person who thinks the system will cope with that card is you !!! There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! Vr5fx Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6798045 States it requires a 300w PSU minimum. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/340664-15-upgrading-graphics Also states it requires a 300w PSU minimum. http://elec.widgetspad.com/How-much-power-supply-do-I-use-the-ASUS-GeForce-GT-430/ Again, 300w PSU minimum. Go ahead and try to run those parts. But I hope you take into account what happens when your graphics card tries to pull more power than what is available. You are also going to upgrade your CPU, which in turn will also draw more power. As you have 9 other forums you are on, and a local PC expert that knows all the information I will be locking this thread, as you have all the help you need.
