How do I get rid of it? I didn't down load it.

I have tried to remove it through internet options, and and restoring my computer to a previous date. All to no avail.

Hi

Go to Add/Remove Programs and see if it is listed there, then just choose to uninstall.

Hi

Is it called Delta Search? What browser are you using? Is it an add-on for the browser or stand-alone program?

Sorry for the late reply...... Christmas got in the way. ;)

A lot of these types of 'searches' are added by third party programs when you install them.

They are a PITA.

This program should be able to clear most of this rubbish from your system.

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.

  • Close all open programs and internet browsers.
  • Double click on adwcleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Click on the Delete button.
  • A logfile will automatically open after the scan has finished.
  • Please post the contents of that logfile with your next reply.
  • You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[s1].txt as well.

It's a standard canned speech, so put the last 2 lines in itallics ..... add the results here if you want. ( but it's not really necessary)

If this doesn't clear it, let us know and we can go to 'Plan B'. :)
