Forgot Administration password

Hi

I have two accounts: an administration one and a standard one. I have forgot the admin password, I have tried password recovery programs from CNET but has been unsuccessful as I need to enter my admin password to allow it onto my system. I was thinking of trying command mode. any tips on what I should try?

I am sorry but we have a policy here that forbids us from assisting with by-passing passwords.

We have no way of checking that the computer is actually yours.

( no accusations here at all )

 

Some other forums are not so rigid with their rules.
