There are many interesting aspects, parts & pieces to the Edge browser being built to replace the current Edge. But, one that I think is particularly cool is IE Mode. Many and especially, certainly, Enterprise customers are going to like, use and appreciate this. Being able to have sites in IE safely within the default browser and right beside Edge tabs in one same browser window and ALL enjoying the performance of Edge, is, indeed, going to have appeal. Will get 👍👍 from those who need it for legacy stuff, for sure.

In addition to IE Mode, coming to Edge is a new three-tiered security model. You can pick between Unrestricted, Balanced, and Strict in Edge. Each one comes with preset options for cookies, third-party services, and more.

If you haven't tried the Edge Insider Builds, should take a look. It's quite the project.

Cheers,

Drew
