How are you trying to install the O/S ? Recovery Disks / Full install disk When you say "Laptop won't allow any installation" What error message are you getting ? marty8710 Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Hi, I have tried installing it using both USB and a disc. I used the facility on the laptop to diagnose the problem. When I install a operating system it just loads it up and freezes thats if i am lucky. Quote
KenB Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Is this a SATA or IDE hard drive ? If IDE make sure the jumper is set to Master. The disk you are using .................what is written on it ?
