I have just discovered that somebody ( I suspect I know who) has been logging into my facebook and going through my private information.

Facebook has shown the location of the person and also that they were logging in with an iphone 5.

I have screenshot all the times they violated my Facebook but I cant prove they did it unless I can find out the phone number of the iphone that violated my account. Is this possible to do?

And also what legal action could I take?

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Under data protection laws Facebook cannot hand over personal information about a hacker.

Your only real option is to change your password.

If you're really concerned the only thing you can do to further this matter is to speak to your local police department. If they share your cause for concern they can request the hackers details from Facebook and take further action.

I wouldn't try confront the person you suspect it to be, you'll look a fool if you're wrong.

Good luck.

This is something you should have done straight away.

If they can't login to your account..... they can't get at any personal information.

Just to be on the safe side if that same password is used for Anything else i would change that too .....
