How do I change my Wifi channel?

Okay so,

 

Currently router is set to channel 1, however this is cluttered with 10+ devices so the strength fluctuates.

 

How do I change my channel on my router - but not the routers channel (I dont want the other devices following me!)

I don't understand your question ?

 

If your router is set to channel 1 at the moment then - if you want a different channel from the other 10+ this is done from within the router's software.

There are probably 13 channels - but the standard options are 1 / 6 / 11

You can only do this by changing the routers channel.

 

If you post the make and model number of your router we should be able to explain further.
