Hello. The built-in camera on my lap top shows my picture upside down and I have looked around and can't figure out how to see the pictures {still or just trying to make a voice email}right side up. Here is some information on my laptop. Thank you f'or any help.

Hi Debbie

Click Start > type in .....webcam .....ENTER

You should see an image. ( upside down ? )

There should be a cog ( gear ) looking icon > click on this.

At the top are two tabs ............one of these should be "Camera Control"

Click on the "Default" button.

Is this any help ?

Hi

If you goto Start > type in webcam ..........do not hit ENTER

Does webcam appear top left of screen ?

If so click on this.

I can only find 3 Notebooks in the K60 series ....

K60IJ

K60IL

K60IN

I suspect it may be a K60IJ the last 2 letters could look like a "U" ....... is this possible ?

Drivers are here:

It may be that an update has installed the wrong drivers.

I tried typing in webcam and not hitting the enter button but it didn't show a picture. I did find the model number of the laptop and it is K601 I didn't see a J or any other letter beside it. I also found the driver numbers and letters and they are USB2.0 UVC VGA Webcam. Thank you for all ypir help.

On the web page KenB has supplied there's 5 webcam drivers yours will be third or fourth , follow the instructions on the website to find the PID code for the camera , then firstly remove the old driver via device manager , then download and install the corresponding driver for the cameras PID code , I had the same problem with my own ASUS netbook.
