DELL Alienware M17x batteria

hi, we took the DELL Alienware M17x battery out and turned it on using the mains adapter. the LED is out when we do this, however the computer only turns on so far, it loads up the dell splash screen (think thats what you call it) DELL Alienware M17x batteria

but doesnt load up windows, once we put the battery back in it started flashing again ,

This can be a problem with the charging circuit or the battery could be damaged.

 

Does the laptop boot up with the battery in ?

 

Which Dell laptop do you have ?

Model and number please.
