usmanozzy786 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Hi, When I try to reboot my PC from a CD rom it says that the samsung drive is not connected however I have checked and its connected, I also swapped the cable on the motherboard with the hard drive socket but then the hard drive dont work. What else can I try? Quote
KenB Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 it says that the samsung drive is not connected 1. I assume that this is the hard drive ? 2. What is the exact error message you are getting ? 3. Can you take the hard drive out and connect it to another machine using an enclosure or USB adapter ? (even add a data and power cable to it from a desktop machine's motherboard ) If so we can run a check on the hard drive to see if there are any problems with it. battyerhful Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 (edited) Hello, have you checked the driver? If the driver is OK, then I think you need to replace the DVD, maybe you can get your driver on*Removed link* Thank you. Edited April 11, 2013 by Vr5fx Quote
