Computer running slow

Hello every one my pc runs very slow and some days its normal. XP pro virgin 30mb broad band. I was thinking of getting speed max or optimizer pro to speed up.

Any advice?

Hi Richiek,

 

In general, those automated programs can be dangerous. They often autoscan the registry and remove items and have resulted in unbootable computers with no backup. What is slow? Startup? Shutdown? Internet downloads? Running programs?

 

Let me know and I can recommend some good programs and/or help you do it manually so we know what changes are being made.
