kit2hugh Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I downloaded Windows8 Pro and loved it straight away but have no sound. Everything is showing as working except hearing it. Tried out speakers on another PC ok, tried other speakers on Win8 no sound. Tried Microsoft Win8 forum got some replies which did not work. I have just done a clean install of Win8 still no sound. Try running the upgrade assistant to see if your system is compatible click here Download Speccy from here click here [you want the free version] Install and run Does it list your sound device under "Audio" ?
