Hi, does that sticker match exactly all of the other three?

If so, you can fit three and leave one out as all slots are black so may not be any mismatch problems.

If three out of the four are fitted and no problem, remove one and fit the other. If a problem with three, it means swapping around until there is no problem, the one not in is then the faulty one.

Having said that, cleaning the contacts as Vr5fx suggests may actually clear it anyway.

Looking at your pic ...... I would suggest that if you are using just 2 modules they should be in the slots with the white locking levers.

( it looks as if you have one in each of the white and black slots )

If the machine is running OK then this - presumably - doesn't matter.

Normally, if the motherboard requires matched pairs, the single pair will sit in the same colour slots.

Right, i currently have all 4 RAM's in and it seems to be running fine. Hopefully I'm not jumping the gun here, but it looks like i'm back in business.

Just wanted to say thank you very much for all the assistance, very much appreciated guys, i wouldn't have had a clue what to do on my own.

Cheers!

It may well have been a dirty connection on one of the RAM modules.
