Sound and video lag

Hello!

 

So I've had this problem for up to two weeks. The sound starts to lag along with the video. When the sound lags, the whole OS lags. It happens about once in a minute and is really annoying as i can't play or watch videos.

It's hard to say how it sounds like, but it sounds like you know when you put a sound cable in to the hole (yes i did say hole) where it's supposed to go and there comes a huge loud noise, it's the same but not that loud.

Sometimes it lags a long time, about half a minute, but usually it's like 2-5 seconds. I know it's not much information but I don't know what more to say

I'm using the Asus Republic of Gamers G75VW (sometimes called just G75V)

Hi, on your other thread in networking you reject outright that your problem could be down to virus or malware infection, yet it is perfectly obvious from what you say here that there is something hogging resources.

I seriously recommend you approach your problem as a possible malware one and act accordingly. If in fact it proves to be malware then all will be OK after it is cleared, if it proves to be not malware, then we can look at other reasons, considering it isn't going to cost anything except a bit of time, what is your problem?
