cannot download Zune keep getting error code

hi, i am desperate for some help. i am on windows vista home basic. i need to have zune on my pc to update my windows phone but everytime i try i get an error code 0x8007005. i have tried everything from ccCleaner, trying to download in safe mode and creating a new user account but to no avail. i hope someone can help me. thanks

One thing you can try is making sure you have all the updates for Vista including SP2.

Randy beat me too it , the error code points to service pack 2 for Vista , can you make sure you have it , then if needed disable your antivirus and any third party firewalls before trying again
