KenB Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Hi and welcome to ExTS I am not a gamer - so will not be able to comment on quality etc. What you have will produce a reasonably quick PC. I would suggest the following Video Card: GTX 650 Ti Boost There is a 1GB and a 2GB option. The 2GB would deal with bottlenecking far better otherwise, from what I have read, they are comparable. I found a 2GB version here: click here Recommendation: click here Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! KenB Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Hi Yes - your components list is compatible as far as I can tell. The 6670 is a good card. If you are pressed for cash then it is a good alternative. see here This features a 1GB version - the 2GB would handle gaming better I think. Vr5fx Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Hiya. What you have got so far is good, it will work. Gaming PC's are always expensive, trying to make a budget PC is always fun, I enjoy it. The listed processor would be good for everyday use, but it might not be so good for gaming. The cheaper the CPU the more issues it will have under load which come back as stuttering and FPS drops while gaming. The GTX 650 is a good card, not really outdated, will still run most recent games on high -> very high. http://www.ebuyer.com/396968-gigabyte-gtx-650-2gb-gddr5-vga-dual-dvi-hdmi-pci-e-graphics-card-gv-n650oc-2gi While on the talk about graphics, your CPU plays a part in how well it works, as well. I've put together a list of parts, but I don't want to post it and let you think that you have done a bad job on your research. What you've done is great and will work. If you request it, I'll be happy to post it. :) -Vr Quote AMD FX 6100 @ 3.9Ghz / Asus M5A99X EVO 990X / G-Skill 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz RipjawsX / Zotac GeForce GTX 660 Ti / Corsair TX 750W V2 PSU / Antec Kuhler 620 / Win7 64 / NZXT Tempest 410 Elite / NZXT 6 channel fan controller / Kingston 240GB HyperX 3K SSD / 1TB HDD Intel Pentium G2020 2.90GHz / Gigabyte GA-Z77N-WIFI / Kingston 4GB DDR3 1600MHz HyperX Genesis / Corsair 430W CXM / Fractal Design Node 304 Mini ITX Case / 2TB WD Greenhttp://steamsignature.com/status/default/76561197986113115.png

xBeast Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 also im not bothered about frame rate drops if i would be recording because i dont intend to do so, also a a monitor that is good for around £150 saw this one http://www.scan.co.uk/products/236-asus-vs247h-led-full-hd-hdmi-dvi-vga-1920x1080-300cd-m-50m1-5ms-black but i wasnt sure if this would have enough inputs? Vr5fx Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Sorry for the delayed reply, work has been keeping me rather busy lately. http://www.ebuyer.com/lists/list/168585 Take a look here and see what you think. That setup will run near on all games very well. That monitor is also fine.
