nicholas100 Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Hello everyone, I'm really hoping i can get some help here! I have a 2007 Acer Aspire t671 Desktop PC, With Vista. Since i purchased the PC i have never upgraded anything (RAM, Processor etc) And i don't think i even had a single Blue screen in those 5/6 Years. Anyway it did start getting a little slow with only 1GB(2x512MB sticks) installed. I decided to go won www.crucial.com and purchased a couple 1GB sticks as advised from crucial for my machine. I also upgraded to WIN 7 the same day. Now since doing these upgrades i have had nothing but problems including: Many BSOD, Items such as "Windows Sidebar", "Chrome", "Firefox" not responding, Computer freezing often right after loading up the desktop, Computer unable to start etc etc etc. I'm not a complete novice and have tried everything i know to fix this, including Reverting Back to Vista (Clean Install), Back To Win 7, Mem Test 86, Check Disc, Updating all drivers, Taking out New RAM and putting back original RAM. This is my motherboard, http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ac...-MS-7326-MB-S6109-002-%2F280662385457;500;406 I currently have 2x1GB sticks in slots 1 and 3 (Black Slots) ...Is that correct? I dont think the RAM is causing the BSOD but i am not certain. Also here is a link to the latest dmp file. http://rapidshare.com/files/1457522154/051713-40731-01.zip Thankyou for reading, i hope i have included enough information. Quote

nicholas100 Posted May 17, 2013 Author Posted May 17, 2013 Thanks Dave for the reply, strangely though since asking for help ive had absolutely no problems at all,I basically did a system restore (as the computer wouldnt boot) and then didn't do any windows updates except for my graphics card. It seems to me that every-time I let windows install all the updates (141 of them), this is when the problems start. If i do get any more problems i will post again with the results from those programs you suggested. Many thanks Quote
