Hi I hope this is the right forum, if not please feel free to move it to the right one, thanks.

I a looking for a tablet so that I can send and receive e-mails, play games like Bejeweled and Candy crush and surf the net and watch BBC i-Player.

Have looked at Kindle HD Fire but have heard the applications on it are very restrictive. It doesn't support flash apparently, I liked the Kindle fire because of it's clear resolution and the speakers it has when playing movies. I have looked at the Nexus seven, but the sound output didn't match up to the one of the Kindle.

Should I get the Kindle HD Fire, or should I bite the bullet and save up for a Apple iPad Mini? I am a little confused about this as I want to get the best for my money.

I don't like downloading books as I still like my novel's, but this would do for when I couldn't get near my PChttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png and I could use the tablet.

Also is 16gb enough for what I want to do, or should I go to a 32gb?

Many thanks and hope you can help me with this?

Thanks for your reply. I think I might bite the bullet and save up for an I pad, do you think they are better? Where is the best place to get one from in the UK please?

A friend at work asked the same question as a present for his daughter, I told him he should look into these.

It will suit everything you need. It holds "more bang for buck" compared to the Ipad mini, and is under £200. Places like Tesco, Argos, Currys/PC World sell them.

Just my opinion.

AMD FX 6100 @ 3.9Ghz / Asus M5A99X EVO 990X / G-Skill 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz RipjawsX / Zotac GeForce GTX 660 Ti / Corsair TX 750W V2 PSU / Antec Kuhler 620 / Win7 64 / NZXT Tempest 410 Elite / NZXT 6 channel fan controller / Kingston 240GB HyperX 3K SSD / 1TB HDD

Intel Pentium G2020 2.90GHz / Gigabyte GA-Z77N-WIFI / Kingston 4GB DDR3 1600MHz HyperX Genesis / Corsair 430W CXM / Fractal Design Node 304 Mini ITX Case / 2TB WD Green

Just to confuse things....

For reading, Kindle's are the best imo. I much prefer reading on a smaller Kindle compared to a larger iPad.

For apps, and web browsing, an Android tablet will be most versatile, iPad, great but.....too much money for too little functionality unless you are a true Apple fan.
