Okay so, I'm not sure if this is a hardware issue, so if you think its something else please redirect me to the correct location.

I custom built a PC and it worked fine for about 2 months then crashed, then it didn't do it for about another two weeks, then did it again. It has been getting steadily more frequent and it occurs only whilst the GPU is under load, although having tested it that doesn't seem to be the issue. It seems to take less and less to cause it to occur each time.

During this crash the screen will freeze, both the mouse and keyboard will no longer receive power, and I will receive a short (0.5 secs aprox) burst of what sounds like random static through whatever audio device I have plugged in.

I have checked the temperature of the GPU under heavy load and it only goes up to around 62C

The specs for my PC are:

1TB Caviar Black WD1002FAEX Hard Drive

1GB XFX HD7850 DD Core Edition Graphics Card

8GB RAM [Corsair I think]

Corsair CX430W Power Supply

Intel core i5 3350P S1155 CPU

GByte GA-B75M-D3V B75 MoBo Motherboard

(Currently running Windows 7 Home Premium)

Any idea on what is causing this or how to fix it would be much appreciated.

Okay, I have downloaded and run BlueScreenView and it has come up with nothing. No minidump files. Unless of course I'm doing something wrong, but I don't think so.
