seedy21 Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Hi your other option is to have a Wi-fi repeater on the second floor of your house. Example of one i have used before is a lindy Wi-fi repeater http://www.lindy.co.uk/wireless-n-wifi-repeater/52061.html Quote “It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything.”― Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club http://www.geekstogo.com/downloads/unite_blue.png Need help with your computer problems? xBeast Posted June 15, 2013 Author Posted June 15, 2013 Cheers yeah i was thinking more to do with reliability rather than best connection at peak Quote
KenB Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Second vote for powerline adapter. Be aware that you will lose a bit of speed compared to an ethernet cable. Also - if the 2nd floor wiring circuit is independent from the router power this may cause problems.
