what is the fastest way to connet a pc to the internet without an ethernet i want a reliable connection.

my bedroom upstairs 2 floors from the router downstairs and my mum says she doesnt want an ethernet cable trailing all the way around the house or even for it to be put through the walls.

Hi

your other option is to have a Wi-fi repeater on the second floor of your house. Example of one i have used before is a lindy Wi-fi repeater

Second vote for powerline adapter.

Be aware that you will lose a bit of speed compared to an ethernet cable.

Also - if the 2nd floor wiring circuit is independent from the router power this may cause problems.

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
