It could be that you have "Mail Fetcher "enabled to get your mail from your yahoo account? Here is an article that explains more. http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=21288&ctx=sibling

You can disable Mail Fetcher by following these steps...

 

Log into your Gmail account.

Click Settings at the top of any page.

On the Accounts tab, find the Get mail from other accounts section.

Click delete next to the account you wish to disable.

Join the conversation

You can post now and register later. If you have an account, sign in now to post with your account.
