Since dismantling my pc and putting it back together I have no sound. I have a separate microphone and a monitor with integral speakers. What am I doing wrong with my connections?

Hi Maggie and welcome to ExTS

May I ask why you decided to pull your system apart ?

I assume that you have checked the soundcard is seated correctly ( if you have one that is ) ?

If you do have a sound-card .....take it out again > clean the contacts with a pencil eraser > replace.

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!

Hi, to add to Kens advice, are you sure you have plugged speakers and microphone into the correct ports?

Standard colours for the ports are, Green or lime green for speakers and pink for microphone, for more information on the colours have a look here, scroll down to "Colour Codes"
