program data folder

Hi, I have lost a folder in my C folder, i.e.the Program Data folder. I don't know how it happened. I know it's still there somewhere because when I was running MSsecurity essentials, I could see the paths on the interface. What should I do? Thanks.

Hi The Program Data folder is usually hidden you can change the setting to show it as youi see in the attached pic the folder is a lighter shade this is to show the folder is usually hidden

To change this click organize then folder and search options then view then show hidden files and folders this will show the hidden folders then to hide them just repeat the process and uncheck show hidden files and folders
